Terrific Thursday!
Hey Y'all I am back! Today was pretty awesome as most students were away either on tours to Italy or New Zeland, the physics students were at adventure world for their excursion. Most classes I attended had very few people. I truly thank God for my teachers that He has blessed me with. They are all so helpful & kind. There were only 2 students in Math Specialist today so we just sat around and played 'cheat'. Haha I found out Mr. Divich is really good at that game. Hmm... I wonder why...
As we only had 3 people in our maths class, my friend suggested getting Macs. Surprisingly, our teacher agreed to the idea and told us to stay in class while she drove out to get the food for us as we didn't have parents' permission to ride in her car.
So here's a picture of the food we had, Math Class of 3 turned into a Hungry Jacks Party! Thank you so much Ms Garnett!
Most of my Facebook friends knew I had this idea in my head! As term break was nearing, I wanted to test my teachers to see how long they would take to realise my homework was done in Chinese. So here's my P&L short questions in Chinese.
It took the teacher in training, Mr Owen 5 minutes to realize I did my homework in Chinese before he started to stare at me and exclaim it to the whole class. Haha :D I had a good laugh! What a good way to end the term ay? For those people like my parents who freak out about my work, please don't worry, I answered those questions that I did in Chinese on a separate piece of paper. So technically, I did the whole worksheet just on 2 pieces of paper. When Mrs Harris walked into class, the whole class got involved by telling her how awesome & amazing my answers were. When she saw it, she started laughing too. She was considering scanning my answers that are in Chinese into the school portal for the next batch of P&L students.
I was really excited for school to end because I was going to attend a lecture by the Ex Prime Minister of Australia, Mr. John Howard. The lecture was really insightful and his main theme was Balance. Just like how Sir Paul Hasluck had introduced into the political scene. However, I feel that Mr. Howard's speech was favoring the Liberals with his strong detest of the current Labour policies. So much for the Balance...
Anyway, I am really thankful to God for sending me 'guardian angels' to help me through my time at SMAGS. Without Mrs Harris, I would not be able to attend this session as she generously offered to take me there & back. It was nice meeting Mr Harris and finding out how that he desperately wants to visit Singapore. I promised that I would get them brochures of Singapore & bring them around town if they visit. Haha Mrs Harris said it was my homework to get the brochures.
I truly Thank God for all these AMAZING people that He placed in my life. I am truly blessed and I pray that God will be able to use me to be a living testimony for Him. Through me, He will be able to reveal Himself to them. I also wanna Thank God for the opportunities that are out of this world. In Singapore, I would not have been able to 'test' my teachers without getting into trouble, I would not have been able to sit in a room filled with politicians without the presence of commanding security officers. It has definitely been a Terrific Thursday! Thank you God for Everything!
God's love & blessings always~
