An Awakening

Strength to strength.
Grace to grace.
Glory to glory.

Moving thru life with His rhythms of grace. Love how seasons of life transition from one to another. But His love never fails. It is consistently good and faithful.

A lot has changed since the last blog post. 2019, a year of shaking up and revelations.
Even in this season of #stayhome, circuit breaker or whatever you want to call it, God is doing a new thing. He never stops working. Just because we don't see thing with our natural eyes doesn't mean that God has given up on us. We need to learn to trust and view situations thru His eyes.

Yeah, I digress. But 2019 was truly a transformational year. An awakening if you can call it that.
He challenged my mindsets and showed me that my identity was not found in my job or how much I was earning. He made it so clear that I had misplaced my priorities in the years leading up to graduation. The call He had on my life was irrevocable. The further one tried to run away from God, the more painful it will be. The more you used and relied on your own strength and wisdom, the more burnout and tired you will be. This was exactly that. God spoke so clearly in August 2019 when I was in KL for Kingdomcity Conference.

"It is time to move on"

I knew in my heart that it was from God. It was a gentle reminder that I was seeking things of the world rather than seeking Him and finding rest in Him. Throughout the year, He kept bringing this call back to mind. It became clear that 2020 was meant to be a year dedicated to seeking Him.

Matthew 6:33 TPT
So above all, constantly chase after the realm of God's kingdom and the righteousness that proceeds from Him. Then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly.

We're almost halfway through 2020 and even though on the surface the world has been shaken up by this corona virus, but I know God is turning it around for God. Greater things have yet to come.
A privilege to be able to be a part of Greenhouse 2020 - a personal discipleship programme that is organised by my church. I am learning about God, my identity in Him and growing in faith for the miraculous. It is key to understand the heart of God and view situations through the filter of Christ rather than our own experiences and hurts.

The most amazing thing about our God, He always has more in store.
Never get complacent.
Stay hungry.
God sees. God knows.
Unlike man, God looks at the heart.
